HR Manager - Region America

We are looking for a passionate HR Manager/ Director - Region America operations.
S/he is accountable for contributing to the development of the organization’s business strategy, providing HR expertise with a very hands on approach to support the achievement of our business goals. The HR Manager/Director is responsible for supporting and driving all the HR related matters and projects of the Americas brands and local subsidiaries in order to ensure an exceptional and value-added HR service.

Summary
The HR Manager/Director - Region America works in close synergy with the Lifestyle Design HR Team based in Italy, S/he provides with the right level of supervision to the implementation of the Group Vision and to the governance of each Brand, providing support, reporting and assistance to the Corporate.
S/he reports to the Lifestyle Design Chief HR Officer based in Italy and is responsible to oversee the America Region, for several Brands and Business Units over a number of locations across the region.
S/he provides with a very rounded and generalist scope of work and his/her responsibilities covers both aspect of governing the compliance and policies while focusing on building relationships with executive team members, helping driving results for the organizations, enhancing the organizational performance and group overall results.
This position provides a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects of HR from partnering with the Leadership Team and the business of several top brands/Business Units on strategic planning implementation.
Emphasis will be on establishing strong employee relations, including managing benefit programs, recruiting to staff open positions, understanding the needs for employee training, administering and hiring, not least in the retail field.

Responsabilities
• Learn the business, including the strategy, products, customers, and business/people issues, quickly gaining trust of the organizations
• Plan, develop and manage recruitment, selection and placement of talent with the critical skills required to ensure the continuity of operations and leadership bench strength development simultaneously championing diversity
• Implement plans to retain and motivate employees including non-monetary recognition programs
• Develop and implement plans to introduce and manage cultural change to improve organization effectiveness
• Assist and provide guidance in the Performance Management and Rewarding policy with regard to performance evaluation and compensation programs
• Contribute to manage the personnel budget in compliance with the Group guidelines by providing support to each Brand HR Leaders, Business Leaders and Line Managers
• Identifying personnel needs, monitoring personnel costs and pinpointing corrective actions in case of variances
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date all the HR metrics and the subsidiaries organizational charts in accordance with organizational changes, new hires and leavers
• Synergize, structure and administer coordinated benefit programs for the region
• Develop, implement and maintain policies/programs that fit the organizations within the region to speed up the growth
• Develop, implement and administer an effective performance management system aimed at improving employee and organizational productivity
• Ensure implementation and administration of succession planning program
• Supervise the implementation of a fair and equitable rewarding system that meet the strategic and competitive demands of the business
• Provides leader, manager and employee counseling and coaching as required.
• Identify/implement employee training
• Understand local, state, and federal employment laws and ensure company compliance
• Supervise payroll process
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 5+ years as a HR manager
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred
• Retail experience a plus

• Multi-site experience

Location target
• Corporate Office, New York or Parent Company HQ, Los Angeles
• The position requires extensive travelling for business reasons within US and internationally to perform the role.
